Tim Cromwell teaches music at Puyallup Northwest Christian School, a position he has held since 2005, and in Lewis County Adventist School in Chehalis, Washington. He graduated from Walla Walla College in 2005 with a B. Mus. in music education.

Cromwell began music study at age eight with piano lessons and at age twelve learned to play the saxophone. He attended Portland Adventist Academy in Oregon where he played in the band and sang in the select choir. In his voice study at WWC, he studied with Bradley Krueger, Cyril Myers, and Christine Janis.
