Terry Buchmiller Crair

 

Terry Buchmiller Crair, assistant professor of surgery at Cornell University Medical Center, with a specialty in pediatric surgery, is also an accomplished violinist. Crair graduated from Pacific Union College in 1984 as music/pre-med major. Whle there as a student, she studied violin with LeRoy Peterson, performed in the college orchestra, and worked as a teacher's assistant for James McGee, professor in theory and composition.

In the years since graduation, as she has continued her studies and residencies, she has played her violin. Although she has lived in many places since she left PUC, she has continued to play in community orchestras whenever possible.
