Sue Mathieu

Sue Mathieu , organist at the Seventh-day Adventist church in Richardson, Texas, has held a number of church music positions in her career. She has served as organist for the John F. Kennedy Center Chapel in Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Minister of Music for the Boon Hill Methodist Church in Charleston, South Carolina; and organist for the Ashley River Baptist Church.
Mathieu's previous music positions in SDA churches have included serving as music director and organist for the Charleston, South Carolina, church and minister of music and organist for the Houston Central church in Texas, where she also taught music at Houston Junior Academy. She served as Executive Director for the Seventh-day Adventist Church Musicians' Guild.
Mathieu completed a bachelor's degree in keyboard and a master's degree in music education at Western Michigan University. Between 1978 and 1981, she participated in the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina, as a member of the chorus.
