Robert Tupper taught organ and music theory at Walla Walla College from 1972 to 1979. A 1969 B.Mus. graduate of WWC, he was regional winner of the American Guild of Organists Young Artist Competition in his senior year. While completing a master's degree at the University of Oklahoma, he served as an accompanist at the university and as choirmaster and organist for the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
