Judson Luther Crouse

1882 - 1960

Judson Crouse was a pioneer music teacher in three Seventh-day Adventist schools. Born in Kansas, he accepted his first teaching position at Stuart Academy in Iowa. In 1904, he married Emma Anderson, who died in 1959.

He worked briefly (1905/06) at Southern Training School, now Southern Adventist University and Union College. In all of these schools and others in later years, he also taught Bible and English. He spent the latter part of his life in Fullerton, California, where he died at age 78.
