Joel H. Borg
1959 -
Joel Borg, a tenor, sang
second tenor in The King's Heralds Quartet from 2004 to 2013. He began singing
at the age of three in his hometown church in Pampas, Texas. He studied music
at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was a winner in vocal
competitions and then sang as a member of The Lone Star Four Quartet in Keene,
Texas.
This was a revival of the
original quartet that H.M.S. Richards had featured in his early evangelistic
efforts. The original quartet was renamed The King's Heralds Quartet when they
continued with Richards as part of his national radio broadcast. Borg also sang
in the Still Water Trio, served as a minister of music in several churches in
Texas, and was a featured soloist in many more.
