Greg Kapiniak is band director at Chinook Winds Adventist Academy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a position he has held since 2007. He previously taught at Great Lakes Academy in Michigan, 1994-1996; Village Elementary School in Berrien Springs, Michigan, 1996-1999; CWAA, from 1999-2005; and Spring Valley Academy in Ohio in 2006-2007. His ensembles have been active in festivals and toured extensively. He has been a studio teacher for over 16 years and has also been active in church music.

A trombonist, Kapiniak is a 1994 B.Ed. music graduate from Canadian University College. He completed an M.Mus. in choral conducting at Andrews University in 1999.
