Donald L. Scroggs

1951 - 

Don Scroggs, first tenor with the Heralds, now the King's Heralds Quartet, was born in South Bend, Indiana, one of five children of Robert G. and Madline H. Damrov Scroggs. He attended South Bend Junior Academy and Indiana Academy, where he was a frequent soloist and active in choral activities.

Following graduation in 1970 from IA, Scroggs enrolled at Andrews University as a music major and then transferred to Southwestern Adventist College, now University, in Keene, Texas. While a student in Texas, he was a first-place winner in the annual Texas Voice Teachers singing competition. He joined the Heralds quartet in 1983.
