Cindy Haffner, a member of the Heritage Singers, a self supporting gospel music ensemble, was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. A fan of HS from her childhood years, she became acquainted with the Canadian Heritage Singers, who helped her contact Max Mace, founder of the HS. She sent an audition tape during her senior year in high school, was accepted, and joined the group in the summer of 1978, following her graduation.
While singing with the HS, she attended Pacific Union College with Greg and Val Mace, members of HS, between weekend appointments. Two years after Cindy joined, HS started singing full-time and she became a part-time member. Today, she sings in the group whenever possible and as needed.
